Women Running Penarth: Autumn programme starts, and women welcome at All Soles fun run!

WOMEN Running Penarth is inviting you to the women-only All Soles fun run on Saturday, September 8 at 11am, starting from the barbecue area at Cosmeston Lakes.

The beginner-friendly 5km route takes in some of the most interesting parts of the Lakes and will follow marshalled traffic-free paths. The starting point is diagonally opposite the cafe across the lower lake and can be reached in either direction around the lake.

Entrants are invited to jog or run the course. To enter go to the website www.womenrunningpenarth.org.uk and click on the entry form on the home page.

Entries are welcome from women of all ages and abilities - do the course at your own comfortable pace and meet club members for a chat. The only entry requirements are that you are female and over 18.

For safety reasons, the course is for runners/joggers only. There is a non-refundable entry fee of £6 and medals and trophies will be presented by the Mayor of Penarth, Cllr Philip Raper, accompanied by the Mayoress.

The run also marks the start of Women Running Penarth's autumn programme with new novice/beginners sessions starting on Monday, September 3 as follows:
