'Full of Life' event to mark Older People's Day in Penarth

VALE Older People's Strategy Forum, a voluntary organisation working for people aged 50+, is inviting the people in the Vale of celebrate UK Older People's Day with a special event.
A 'Full of Life' event will be held at the Penarth Conservative Club, Stanwell Road, Penarth, on October 1, from 9.30am-2pm.
The annual Older People's Day falls on October 1. The day celebrates later life and the huge contribution older people make to their communities.
Everyone has a parent or grandparent, colleague or friend who they look to for advice and to learn from - Older People's Day is all about bringing older and younger people together to create better understanding and respect.
Information stands will include Housing Benefit changes information, Carers VOGC, Care and Repair, Advantage Befriending Project, Ty Hapus supporting people with dementia, Health Wales, Vale Youth Forum, Bop with Age ConcernÕs very own Octavia Choir, learn to brush up on your computer skills and get more from your mobile phone.
