Fundraising fashion show will be a treat for Penarth's ladies

A GROUP of brave ladies are taking to the catwalk to raise money for the Parish of Penarth and Llandough.

Following the success of this event last run in 2010, Gingers of Penarth are once again showing off fashion for women of all ages from their extensive range of clothes and jewellery.

According to Mary Cole from St Augustine's Church, the last event was not only entertaining, but 'it gave many of us ideas about wearing clothes we might never have thought of before, and it was great fun'.

The show is at the Parish Hall, Albert Road on Thursday, October 4, at 7pm for 7.30pm. There will be a bar, a raffle, laughter and chat.

Cathy Evans from Gingers said: "There is nothing women like more than relaxing together and looking at clothes that are not only fashionable, but affordable - you don't have to go to Milan to get the look - it's here in Penarth!"

Tickets cost £5 from Mary on 02920 703487, or from Gingers in Stanwell Road.
