SUMMER'S wonderful 2012 Olympics may be over but don't despair - Penarth's star-studded Showtime 2012 is on its way!

The young pupils and students from the Jeff Guppy School of Musical Theatre are in rehearsal for their latest show. Popular excerpts from such classic musicals as 'Chicago', 'Mamma Mia', 'The Wizard of Oz', 'Annie', 'Singin' in the Rain', 'Anything Goes' and 'Footloose' will feature alongside serious drama and delightful song and dance.

A favourite number from the boy band 'One Direction' is enjoying great popularity with the Junior Dance Class!

The prestigious Jeff Guppy School specialises in all aspects of Musical Theatre. The hard-working, enthusiastic youngsters aged between 3 and 17 years enjoy classes in singing, dance and drama. It's creative, energetic and fun!

Each session is led by tutors with successful careers in theatre, television, radio, film and most importantly, primary, secondary and higher education.

The pupils are regularly called upon to perform in sell-out national touring productions at the Millennium Centre and the New Theatre, and they have appeared in musicals, pantomime, with Welsh National Opera and the BBC Proms concerts, as well as on television.

Showtime 2012 plays at the Paget Rooms, Penarth, at 5pm on Sunday, October 7 - so make a date to see the fabulous Jeff Guppy pupils in their annual showcase, an Olympian extravaganza of dynamic dance, drama and music.
