Traffic wardens to return to the Vale?

THE Vale of Glamorgan Council is proposing to have six traffic wardens patrolling the Vale from April 1, 2013.
The Vale Council is set to take on the responsibility for Civil Parking Enforcement (CPE) and is seeking powers from the Welsh Government to do so, while working in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council to produce a cost effective service.
Director of Visible Services and Housing, Miles Punter said: "The intention is that in the future, Bridgend CBC will undertake the management of CPE for both council areas with dedicated Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) operating in each area.
"The initial proposal is for six CEOs to be working in the Vale and these numbers will be reviewed as the project progresses."
