Police appeal after suspicious car fire in Penarth

POLICE in Penarth are appealing for information following a car fire on Windsor Road on Saturday, September 29. The incident occurred at approximately 9.45pm, when police and the fire service attended following reports of a parked vehicle ablaze.

The Nissan Sunny, which had been stationary for some months at the location, was extensively damaged by the fire, which is being treated as suspicious.

No-one was injured during the incident.

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area that evening should contact Penarth Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
