PENARTH Air Cadets were busy training around Penarth and Cardiff Bay recently to prepare for the Royal Air Force Walking and Road Marching Association's two day march in April.

This is an event open to civilian and military entrants where you have to walk a certain amount of miles over one or two days.

Cadets will be walking 50 miles at the event this year.

During the day cadets walked a total of 17 miles, preparing themselves for the challenge to come.

If you want to make friends, develop skills and try something new then join Penarth Air Cadets.

If you are between 12 to 17-years-old head to the squadron and see what they do.

The Squadron parades on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7pm to 9.30pm next to Dingle Road train station.
