THE PENARTH Remembrance Sunday parade attracted a large crowd, as alongside and standing outside their homes.

More than 100 people joined the parade with further supporters walking alongside and standing outside their homes.
Representatives of the Air Cadets, Sea Cadets, the Coastguard, Lifeboat, Fire Service, St John Ambulance, the Scouts, the Welsh Assembly, and members of the public were led in the parade by Lieutenant Mike Clarke, of the Army Cadet Force, and Penarth British Legion Band under the direction of Philip Morris.
The parade marched from Station Approach to the Garden of Remembrance at Alexandra Park, and then back to the service at All Saints Church.
The rector and Royal British Legion chaplain, the Reverend Peter Cox, conducted the service - which was followed by a two minute silence in memory of the fallen.
* A short ceremony to observe Armistice Day took place in Penarth Town Centre between 10.55am and 11.10am on Wednesday morning, November 11, after which a wreath was laid at the war memorial in St Augustine's Church.
