WHAT do medieval princes and knights do when they're not at work? They play football of course!

The cast and crew of BBC fantasy drama Merlin were filming at Cosmeston recently - and while at their evening camp at Sully Sports club last Wednesday, they joined in for a kick-about with youngsters from the U11s Snappers team who were training at the time.

Prince Arthur, played by Bradley James, plus his Knights of Camelot, Gwaine (Eoin Macken) and Percival (Tom Hopper), brought a bit of medieval magic to the evening for the youngsters.

Bradley (aka Prince Arthur) even talked about the impromptu football match on Twitter, telling his thousands of followers all about the warm welcome he had received in Sully.

The boys had great fun with the Stars of the hit series who had a bit of time on their hands before shooting scenes at the Medievil village at Cosmeston for the new series due to run in September.
