AS we don’t now have any secondary school in Dinas Powys our children have to walk the long path into Penarth St Cyres at a younger age, my daughter being one of these.

She has to sit all of the school day in wet clothes, up to her knees, because when it rains the path from the last kissing gate onto Sully Road gets flooded. Her feet are submerged past her ankles and there’s no other way through. As the children walk through this it splashes up to their knees. My daughter is now on her third pair of shoes in two months and she has taken time off school due to colds.

I have informed the council who promised to report back to me but haven’t. Also where is the school bus that we were promised last September!
