Study of Penarth town centre seating

ANGHARAD Williams, a Cardiff University student studying for an MSc in Planning Practice and Research, has chosen Penarth town centre seating provision as a topic for her studies.

Luckily this is an issue currently being looked at by the town council and so the council has welcomed the opportunity to be able to work with Angharad and share and benefit from the valuable research she is undertaking.

Angharad has spent many hours over the last few months observing the way in which the existing seating in the town centre is used, and to complete her research she now needs your assistance.

A public consultation will take place in the Paget Rooms on Wednesday, February 6, from 2pm to 6.30pm, when you will have the opportunity to have a free cuppa and a biscuit while you give Angharad your views on current public seating provision in the town centre and how it could be improved.

You will also be given the opportunity on the day to enter a free prize draw for £20 of Boots gift vouchers.

We look forward to seeing you at the Paget Rooms on February 6 when you can meet and speak with Angharad and town council representatives.

If you have any queries in relation to the consultation, please contact me (Shân Bowden) at the Town Council Office on 029 2071 3844 or e-mail sbowden@penarthtowncouncil.gov.uk
