OUTING: Gibbs Home beach outing at Cold Knap
I CAME across this photograph when delving through my many.
It is an outing of the boys, masters and ladies from Gibbs Home, now Headlands.
I estimate it was taken in 1943/1944 I have it because my father, Charles Davies, was one of the masters. He is seated in the third row from the front, next to the grey-haired gentleman who was a Mr Cox, the gardener at Gibbs Home.
The gentleman at the top was the headmaster, Mr Thomas.
