Heartstart’s on its way
11:46am Thursday 14th March 2013 in Letters
HEARTSTART UK, in association with the British Heart Foundation, is coming to the Vale of Glamorgan.
This new and exciting scheme will launch soon and this is your chance to become part of it.
Heartstart UK is looking for volunteer trainers to deliver heartstart courses to members of the public across the Vale of Glamorgan.
You don’t need to have any teaching experience, as you will be provided with the skills, materials and confidence to deliver the courses to all age ranges. You do need, however, a basic knowledge of emergency life support including CPR, heart attacks, supporting unconscious patients, choking and bleeds and, of course, a passion for getting this important skill as widely spread as possible.
This is a new and exciting scheme that has been supported with more than £1,000 worth of new and interactive training aids and materials.
If you feel that this is the opportunity you have been looking for to volunteer in your community, and the opportunity to save lives, then why not get onboard. To register your interest, e-mail Ford Brazel Scheme director/co-ordinator at heartstartvaleofglamorgan@gmail.com
