Cycle route dumb idea

HOW spectacularly incompetent the Vale of Glamorgan Council appear to be with regard to money wasted preparing a cycle route through Dingle Park.
They appear to be unaware of public annoyance regarding the lack of parking places in the town centre, the vast amount of potholes littering our roads, or the dangerous state of the pavements. Additionally, they appear unaware that conservation of wildlife in the form of insects and birds is now a major issue. They therefore nonchalantly destroy the natural habitat of these creatures cutting back the hedgerows so that ‘man’, the biggest destructive force on planet earth might be able to cycle approximately 300 meters unimpeded.
According to M Scott Peck, a respected author on the nature of evil and thought, lazy thinking is one root of evil. Lazy thinking certainly characterises this dumb idea.
