Wake-up call for everyone

REGARDING the letter 'Closure is a wake-up call for everyone' (Penarth Times, October 17).
It is sad that another business is closing in Penarth.
I am the owner of a business in the town and in reading your comments/ideas, some of which could help, it seems that your are reducing the importance of the single and most critical issue in Penarth and that is parking; it is not better in any way with the return of the wardens, business increased whilst they were not here. Considering the lack of knowledge, modern commercial savvy, and more importantly common sense between the 16 yes 16 councillors that make up Penarth Town Council I suggest nothing will ever be achieved to bring Penarth into the twenty first century. What commercial experience is there? How many have been in the real world during there career and not in the Civil Service, for the sake of the future get some real people to make some real decisions and perhaps we won't read every week of yet another business closure.
