ABOUT Hallowe'en and Mr Coates and the very thought of Mr and Mrs Davies hiding behind cars on a cold dark winter night whilst their children knock doors begging for treats makes me very concerned (Penarth Times, November 14 and 21).
The fact she finds the experience exhilarating is worrying. May I ask Mrs Davies to spare a thought for the elderly, the infirm, shift workers, someone having a shower, bath or nap, reading a book or just having some peace and quiet.
My doorbell didn't stop periodically for 4 hours. I care for a disabled relative who manages very little sleep and my neighbours door was covered in eggs nearly ending in an ugly incident.
May I say Mrs Davies, while you're hiding behind cars, giggling at your children inconveniencing others, please spare a thought for others who are trying to chill out and have fun undisturbed in the privacy of their own homes.
