WE are writing to thank Clive and Rose Williams for their 13 years at the Windsor Arms pub.
Sadly, ill health meant they could no longer continue working, but Phil Davies, who was working for Clive and Rose, has now taken over and the old staff remain, and they all offer a warm and friendly welcome. Like anyone who takes over a business, Phil wants to put his own mark on the pub. Sunday nights are open mic nights so if you fancy getting up with your guitar, why not pop along? Phil went to school in Penarth and knows the town well. He has set up a new facebook page The Windsor Arms Ale House, so please ‘like’ it and keep an eye out for what’s going on there. We’re lucky in Penarth to have such a variety of excellent shops, cafes and pubs, so let’s try and support them, and we wish Phil all the best in his new venture.
