LETTER sent to Cllr Neil Moore, Leader of the Vale Council.
It is with sorrow and anger that I read of your council’s proposals to downgrade Dinas Powys Library and destroy the pleasure of old and young to acquire information from professional librarians, by using volunteers.
Where are these volunteers who would take professional jobs away from people who have studied to obtain qualifications?
This library is a service provided and maintained from our Council Tax and should remain so. I urge you to rethink this retrograde step. We deserve better treatment in Dinas Powys.
