SOME may not realise that the work of Albert Road Methodist Church continues behind the award-winning apartments recently created in the front half of the original building. For the past six years the church congregation has continued to meet in our refurbished church and throughout the week we welcome church and community groups as well as education classes.
There will be a chance for everyone to enjoy a visit to our church and community centre on Saturday, July 12, when we will be holding a summer fair and coffee morning as part of the Penarth Holiday Festival. Stalls will include homemade cakes, preserves, ice cream, toys, gifts and bric-a-brac and there will be games and a raffle.
We suggest you come for the opening at 10am in order to snap up the bargains before moving on to other Holiday Festival events in the town. We are looking forward to a visit from the Town Mayor during the morning.
