I AM writing to ask your readers if anyone has a spare garage or lock up that is local to the Marie Curie Hospice in Penarth as the fundraising team are looking for somewhere to use as storage for our fundraising materials.
The hospice has gradually started a number of wonderful new services to enable us to care for even more patients in a variety of ways, but this has resulted in even less space available for staff and storage.
As our local supporters know, a visit to the fundraising team often ends in a visit to ‘the garage’ to supply anything one needs to help fundraise. The loss of this facility will be sorely missed and so anything that we can have access to locally will be much appreciated. If anyone can help or give any suggestions on where a space could be made available please can they contact me directly on 02920 426068.
The Marie Curie Hospice Cardiff & the Vale is here for people with serious illnesses and their families. Whether someone comes in to stay or visits regularly, we give them the excellent care they expect-and the best quality of life they could wish for.
