I WAS in the Paget Road Park today with my three grandchildren. My grandson kicked his ball over the railings and it disappeared from sight among the undergrowth. A very kind young man came over and offered to look for it, closely followed by his friends.
They hunted for it, getting stung and smeared with dog excrement in the process, but could not find it. It was so good of them, I just hope they did not regret helping as they headed home to get cleaned up!
I wish I had taken their names to thank them properly; my grandson said one was called Tom. Thank you so much for putting yourselves out for us, boys, it was truly appreciated and you are credits to yourselves, families and friends.
