A poem for Helen – Penarth Treasure
Penarth is missing one great star,
Who touched us all both near and far,
And though you have gone to a peaceful place,
We will never forget your smile, your face,
God bless you Helen, you are now at peace,
Your spirits free, your heart released,
And though you are no longer here,
You’re in our hearts, you need not fear
My dearest friend I miss you so,
You suffered like the rest we know,
A light that shone, a star so bright,
God bless Helen at peace tonight.
