AS ONE of Wales’ leading environmental charities, Keep Wales Tidy, will be celebrating St David’s Day early this year with our annual ‘Tidy Tea Break’ on Friday, February 27.

Sponsored by Western Power Distribution, Tidy Tea Break is a great opportunity to get together, relax and enjoy some tea and cake, all in the name of charity.

Keep Wales Tidy is working in every part of our wonderful country, encouraging voluntary action and enabling communities to make their local environment a better place.

As well as tackling issues such as littering, fly-tipping, dog fouling, graffiti, fly-posting and vandalism, Keep Wales Tidy promotes sustainable development, community food growing, conservation work and biodiversity.

As a charity, we rely on public support and Tidy Tea Break is just another way for people to be involved in our work.

To register your Tidy Tea Break and find out more information visit our website www.keepwalestidy.org or email events@keepwalestidy.org.

We’ll supply you with posters, creative tea party ideas and recipes for some delicious teatime treats. We’ve also teamed up with Western Power Distribution to offer £5 Co-operative vouchers to people who hold an event.

So have a cuppa, a slice of cake, and let’s celebrate all that’s great about Wales.
