IN THE run-up to the General Election on May 7 Age Cymru is offering your readers the opportunity to ask their parliamentary candidates to become Age Champions.
This means that if they say ‘Yes’ they will agree to speak out on issues affecting older people and work with Age Cymru to secure a better future for older people.
An easy to use form appears on Age Cymru’s website www.agecymru.org.uk/manifesto (in English) www.agecymru.org.uk/maniffesto (in Welsh) which readers are invited to fill in.
Age Cymru will then ensure that the message reaches the relevant Parliamentary candidates.
If candidates agree to become Age Champions, it means they are willing to speak out on issues of concern to older people.
