I AM writing in response to an article which appeared recently in the paper. Mr Foday has stated that several people had been in contact with him regarding the trees that have been cut down around Paget Road park.
As a long time resident I cannot see what is so wrong in opening up a great view. On many occasion you can see visitors admiring the view over the bay to Cardiff, also tour buses that pass by. This was evident when the fly by was arranged when the G8 summit was in Cardiff.
The amount of people that commented to me on the fantastic view, which will now hopefully bring more visitors.
There was not this amount of disagreement about trees being felled, when a serious amount of trees were felled to make room for the housing which is called Northcliff.
