I AGREE with the letter from C Smith "No blooms for bus users" about no bus service to Dyffryn Gardens (Penarth Times April 30.)
Cardiff Bus has let the people of Penarth down badly unless you live in the Castle Avenue/Cedar Way/Stanwell Road areas. We live in a seaside town but cannot get to the beach by bus. What must visitors think?
Neither can we people get to the Barrage or the Bay. Watts Coaches run the 89A/B service at a two hourly intervals from certain areas but this does not include evenings, Sundays or Bank holiday Mondays when a lot of people, having been at work, would like to visit these areas.
Service 93 is also withdrawn after 6pm and on Sundays and Bank holiday Mondays so people are unable to get to Dinas Powys. It is unfair that some areas should have a reliable, frequent service whilst other areas have none.
