A complaint about the condition of the approach road between the bus stop and the church wall at Llandough has resulted in Penarth Council deciding to have this piece of land made up.
Cogan old age pensioners had an opportunity of hearing of the work being done to achieve better standards of living for the pensioners, at an "Open House" at their Centre last Friday when they were joined by members from Cardiff and Barry.
Penarth's Christmas arrangements are to be injected with new ideas decided Penarth Town Council after receiving a deputation from the Chamber of Trade.
After several weeks of negotiation terms have been agreed with the New Theatre, Cardiff, for the presentation of a two week season of light opera by Penarth Operatic Society.
This Sunday, September 19, no less than 20 six-a-side teams will compete for the Alec Allen Cup at the Recreation Ground, Penarth. Contestants travel from far afield for this popular tourney which is now accepted as the first major event of the Welsh hockey season.
