IF ANYONE finds themselves in need of a string quartet, trio or duo for a formal or informal event there is a new name on the scene.

The Eilan Quartet performed at the All Saints Music at Lunchtime concert recently and thoroughly enchanted the audience with their accomplished and sensitive rendition of music by Haydn and Beethoven.

These talented young players are all students at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and gave of their time freely, fitting their recital in between morning and afternoon lectures.

We at All Saints, along with all those who came to listen, were very grateful that they had come along to entertain us but they also thanked us for giving them the opportunity to perform in front of such a friendly and welcoming audience.

The All Saints Music at Lunchtime season continues until November 23 with a variety of music on offer.

Entry is free and the church is totally accessible to disabled people. People bring their lunch along and have a picnic on the Gallery and hot and cold drinks are provided.

A warm welcome is extended to all – just turn up.
