The pier set up beautifully for the proposal
DEAR editor,
That was a nice feature about the Penarth Pier proposal and a nice write-up.
I wish them both many happy times as I had my first date with my late wife on the same pier catching the old paddle steamer to Western.
Happy days to remember over 50 years ago, as life will never be the same, but we've got to go on regardless.
