DEAR editor,
So now Tax Raising Powers will be devolved to The Welsh Assembly. I think the Welsh People will come to bitterly regret this.
During the 2011 referendum for “More Powers to the Welsh Assembly”, the “YES” Campaign promised over and over again that this would NOT happen. Well it has, and this “bit by bit” strategy will undoubtedly continue.
The fact that we are lumbered with yet another layer of unnecessary politicians at vast expense is bad enough. The steady process of loosening our ties to the United Kingdom will be far more damaging and needs to be stopped urgently.
Those of your readers who feel this danger now have a chance to make their voices heard. A new political party has been formed and will be standing candidates in next year’s Welsh Assembly Elections.This Party’s aim is to abolish the Assembly; no more, no less.
