DEAR editor,
What has happened to the weather?
In the summer temperatures were the same
And I cannot help believing
That global warming is to blame.
It's been easily the warmest
Autumn that I can remember
And now I've been told
That there are daffodils in December.
I'm tired of these dull wet days
And want sunshine on Penarth beach
I try to pull back the clouds
But they're well out of reach
And have great sorrow for Cumbria
Flooded after biblical rain
And it cannot be denied
That the weather is quite insane.
Now they say a toxic cloud is coming
From winds way down south
And all I want this winter
Is cold breath from my mouth.
Christmas cards and carols
Do not mix at all
And now it's winter time
I long...for snow to fall.
