I WANT to thank your readers who have been giving their spring-cleaning real meaning this year and donating items to their local British Heart Foundation (BHF) shop as they declutter their homes.
As you may know, I’m a big fan of keeping the home spick and span, and spring is the perfect time to have a good old clean up and clear-out. Every unwanted item donated is hugely appreciated by your local BHF shop and each jumper, CD, wardrobe and book helps in the fight for every heartbeat.
With cardiovascular disease causing over 9,200 deaths last year across Wales alone, the need for vital heart research has never been greater and the amazing support of people in your local area will help to continue funding over 1,000 research projects across the UK.
If you are yet to get out your feather duster and start spring cleaning, there’s no need to worry as BHF shops are always in need of stock to fill their rails and so would love your unwanted items all year round.
It’s also a great time to take advantage of their free collection service to make decluttering and donating completely hassle free – for more information please visit bhf.org.uk
