I WOULD like to extend a very warm welcome to all Penarth Times readers to a feast of musical entertainment to be held next week Monday, July 11 to Friday, July 15.

Lunchtime concerts will be held every day between 1pm and 2pm and concert goers can bring their lunch and enjoy the music from the mezzanine gallery or downstairs.

The church is fully accessible to disabled people including a lift to the gallery. Teas, coffees and cold drinks will be provided and admission is free although any donations towards the All Saints Organ Fund will be gratefully received.

The Music at Lunchtime concerts (summer and autumn) are now in their fourth year and have increased in popularity each time. Music lovers will be treated this summer to the piano playing of Lucas Dwyer, the beautiful music of Philip Hayman’s viola with Alison Dite on piano, the guitar playing and songs of John Lewis, the wonderful organ playing of August Guan, All Saints’ resident organist and choirmaster, as well as the varied talents of Clare Gardner and friends.

All have played at All Saints before and audiences will not be disappointed this time round either.

We hope to welcome large audiences again this summer and I look forward to seeing you all there.
