MAY I through your paper thank the lovely people who stopped to help me when I had a very bad all fall on Tuesday, August 30, in Ludlow Road.
This was in the early afternoon and was caused by a large pothole in Ludlow Road. My face was badly cut and bruised but I had no fractures.
I was taken to A&E by a paramedic and had stitches in my forehead.
As an 84-year-old widow I was extremely shocked. My face is now very battered looking.
Cold compresses were applied to my face by Pip who owens the new delicatessen shop and Andrew who lives in Ludlow Road was so helpful.
I don’t know the names of the other people but thank you all.
I have only lived in Penarth for 18 months but the people here are fantastic.
