REGARDING the letter from Dinas United Tenants Association in the Penarth Times last week, about their problems with the local playground.
I am a Penarth beach warden, and we had difficulty initially with the logistics of setting up a practical group.
I understand the frustration of the Dinas United Tenants Association – but now is the right time to make a concerted effort.
With the Assembly funding the Tidy Towns initiative, there is a drive to make things easier and to achieve positive results.
We are in the process of applying for a grant to buy the kit to remove graffiti from the sea wall. Look at the website by googling Tidy Towns Vale of Glamorgan and e-mail Ian Harvey at ianharvey@keepwalestidy.org If he hasn’t an immediate solution, he should be able to put you in contact with someone who can help.
Good Luck!
