THERE has been much criticism of hospital patient neglect, and it’s time another point of view was aired.

As friends, we visited Albert William Hoare, for months a patient in Velindre and Barry Hospital on Sam Davies ward, where he received the highest levels of care by doctors and nurses.

Sincere thanks to all staff for your dedication, kindness. Nothing was too much trouble.

This remained Albert’s sentiment from beginning to his end. God bless you all.
