THANKS to a grant from Sports Council Wales and the Vale Community Chest, and as part of the programme of events celebrating the 20th anniversary of Lower Penarth Community Association, we are delighted to provide indoor physical activities at the community centre for children and young people on Saturdays.
The sessions, for six to 16-year-olds, will be from 11.30am to 1pm on Saturdays, starting on March 10. The emphasis will be on fun, with a wide range of games including kurling, bowls, pitch ‘n’ throw, and activities using hoops, weights, cheerleader pompoms, and much more.
There will be no charge for the sessions in March, to give as many children and young people as possible the opportunity to try out and enjoy the activities.
There is no need to book a place in advance but if you prefer to be sure of one, or would like more details, please contact the tutor, Sian Steen, on 07793 007286 or e-mail ann.m.whitfield@btin ternet.com We look forward to seeing you!
