AS we approach Easter, it is good to reflect on the sacrifice our Lord made over 2,000 years ago. I have written the following poem to reflect on this...
All because he died The devil he was vanquished Heaven’s gates were opened wide He gave his all so hear his call That came because he died He paid for us the penalty For all our shame and sin He offers us forgiveness And our new life can begin He prayed, Father forgive them They know what they do And because he gave his life for us We all can make it through So see him in the sunshine Try to do what’s right If you just open your heart’s door He’ll fill you with his light So let his love live in you With you he will abide Remember he does forgive you And all because he died Helen Ford Victoria Road, Penarth
