Party and bake sale

ON SATURDAY afternoon, August 11, Trinity Church in Stanwell Road, Penarth, is holding a Grand Garden Party and Bake Sale.
This will take place on the garden area adjacent to the church (weather permitting - if wet, inside church hall). Tables and chairs will be set out and visitors will be served a scone, jam and cream tea. The cost will be £1.50 a head. The ladies and friends of Trinity Methodist are renowned for their baking skills – both sweet and savoury. On sale will be a large selection of home baked products. These may be taken away or can also be served at table if desired.
The popular Guess The Weight of the Cake competition will also take place – something always looked forward to at Trinity events together with a raffle with lots of prizes. Funds raised will be used for Trinity’s good works in the community.
