Vandalism hits charity
8:10am Thursday 2nd August 2012 in Letters
ON Thursday last we discovered that the banner advertising the Open Gardens Trail, attached to the wall between Forrest road and Westbourne Road, had been deliberately vandalised.
It wasn’t just torn down but a triangle had been cut out of it, rendering it totally useless.
These banners are expensive and cannot be destroyed easily.
Apart from losing the advertising of the Open Gardens which is for the community of our town, it is denying the charity the funds we are aiming to raise.
We hope whoever did this sees this letter and re-thinks their attitude to life!
