RECENTLY, members of the Penarth Society stated how impressed they were with the standard of the Olympic Games 2012.
The tremendous achievements displayed by the Vale of Glamorgan and Welsh Olympic teams were pleasing to watch.
Hannah Mills, yachtswoman from Dinas Powys won a silver medal, and all anticipate that other sporting stars who competed in the Games this summer will already be in training for the Rio Games 2016, and we wish Ieuan Lloyd, swimmer, and Brett Morse, discuss thrower, both from Penarth, future success.
All athletes have set an excellent example to young people in the Vale to participate in sporting activities.
