Garden party success!

WE were so lucky, after a very poor summer, to have had our fifth charity garden party in the garden on September 8.

Very many thanks to all those who supported us, family, friends, neighbours, and who worked so hard to make the day such a great success - those who manned and set up the stalls, served tea and coffee, sold raffle tickets, took the entrance fee and presented the raffle prizes.

Thank you again for all those who gave wonderful raffle prizes - Paul and Jason of Barry Motors, Source of Beauty and many more.

Thanks to Carole for the lovely cards she made on her stall, and Susie's Arts and Crafts stall, who both donated their sales. Also Jo, Alan and Nerys for all their hard work.

Many thanks to those who could not attend but generously gave donations which, with what was spent on the day made £725.

Of that £525 will benefit the Marie Curie Hospice Penarth, and £200 will go to local charity Crossroads.
