I WOULD like to once again thank the people of Penarth for their overwhelming support for my Hats4Heroes campaign.
Over the last few weeks, I have collected several large carrier bags of chocolates and sweets that have kindly been donated by Penarthians.
Snells Newsagents on Stanwell Road and Fourways Newsagents on Glebe Street have both kindly agreed to keep our collection boxes in their shops for a few more weeks.
We have started the process of sending the hats, complete with chocolate, to the troops serving in Afghanistan – so they should soon be keeping heads warm.
