THE Marie Curie Hospice, Cardiff and the Vale, in Penarth, is still recruiting trekkers to take on the Inca Trail, Peru, next year.
In May 2014 fundraisers will trek the trail to Machu Picchu, discovering the wonders of the South American region and helping to support the work of Marie Curie nurses along the way.
Spread over ten days, the challenge includes six days of trekking, taking in the sights of the former Royal Inca highway near the heart of the Peruvian jungle.
A spokesperson for the local Marie Curie Hospice said: “The dramatic scenery - with its high landscapes and jungle backdrop, make this overseas challenge one not to be missed but places for this trip are filling up fast.”
