12:02pm Wednesday 30th October 2013 in Penarth news
CARDIFF City fans travelling to see this Sunday's match against Swansea in the Premier League Derby at Cardiff City Stadium are being advised to leave plenty of time for their journey, especially if travelling by train.
Kick-off is at 4pm and services into Cardiff Central are expected to be busy during the day.
There will be a British Transport Police presence at Cardiff Central and fans are advised to travel by supporters’ coaches.
Any passengers wishing to travel by train should be aware there will be planned rail improvement works on Sunday, November 3, and there will be no services to and from Grangetown station. There will be road replacement buses operating between Cardiff Central and Grangetown, continuing into Barry.
Passengers will not be able to use Ninian Park station, as there will be no services on the Cityline on Sundays.
Arriva Trains Wales would like to thank passengers for their patience whilst this work takes place.
