A PENARTH man is appealing for people to contact the police after his car was broken into and a number of personal items were stolen.
Geoff Cullen’s car, parked near the junction of Wordsworth Avenue and Mountjoy Place, was broken into on Monday night, January 6.
“A mean thief stole a small box containing my disabled badge and spare glasses, as well as a bunch of keys, a mobile phone, CD’s and other items from my car,” he said.
“The thief would have known that I was disabled as my mobility scooter and walking stick were in the car.
“Please keep a look out if anyone finds any of these things. Please contact local Police.”
For non-emergencies Penarth Police can be contacted on 101.
