BIRTHDAY SURPRISE: Max Hancock bumped into record Cardiff City signing Gary Medel when he was celebrating his seventh birthday
A PENARTH schoolboy was given the perfect birthday present after he bumped into record Cardiff City signing Gary Medel.
Victoria Primary School’s Max Hancock was celebrating his seventh birthday when he met Chilean Gary Medel in the Red Dragon Centre down Cardiff Bay on Sunday, January 12.
Rob Owen, Max’s step-dad, said: “He was having food with his family near the bowling alley but was happy enough to pose for a picture with Max."
Max Hancock said his cousin Jac Herbert, a huge Bluebirds fan and season ticket holder, would be very jealous!
