A FUNDRAISER in memory of a Penarth marine will be held at the Seashore Grill in Sully on Friday, February 14.
Royal Marine Paul ‘Woody’ Woodland died at the age of 32 during a training exercise in October 2012.
Sian Woodland, who raised more than £13,000 in memory of her fiancee last year, has now set herself the target of raising £10,000 for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund (RMCTF).
The fundraiser will be held at the Seashore Grill at 7.30pm on Friday, February 14.
Tickets are £10 and include a buffet and entertainment.
Raffle prizes include an iPod touch, a spa day for two, an adrenaline day, a Ted Baker overnight bag, and much more from local businesses.
All money raised will go to the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund (RMCTF).
RMCTF help injured soldiers, bereaved families and children, PTSD and sick active soldiers.
