A TRADITIONAL sweet shop is set to open on Penarth Pier this weekend.
The sweet shop, based in the former Tourist Information Centre at the entrance to Penarth Pier, will be officially opened by Penarth Town Mayor Neil Thomas on Sunday, March 2, at noon.
The shop will be run by independent businessman Phil Rees, who already owns the traditional sweet shop in Windsor Arcade in Penarth town centre.
