A CHARITY quiz night will be held at the The Pilot in Penarth on Sunday, March 23.
All proceeds from the quiz night, which starts at 7.30pm, will go towards Bowel Cancer UK.
Stella Sturgess, who has organised the fundraising quiz night, said: “There will be a £2 entry fee per person and raffle tickets to buy for the chance to win some fabulous prizes, including a Marks & Spencer hamper, an Enerchi basket of goodies, afternoon tea voucher for Hamptons, wine and chocolates and a print of the new pier building by a local artist.”
She added that she would like to thank all of the local businesses for donating to the cause.
Earlier in the day Stella and member of Cardiff Canton Singers will also be singing and collecting donations at Tesco on Western Avenue.
In May Stella is set to cycle 500km from London to Paris in memory of her father.
